Cape Palos
Cabo de Palos is one of the symbols of the La Manga area. It owes its name to the Latin palus , meaning lagoon or marsh, which links it to the Mar Menor. It is an iconic cape in Spanish geography. In the area around Cabo de Palos there are a series of beaches, coves and islets that make this area great for snorkelling, swimming & exploring in the sunshine.

Murcia Sunday Flea market
Sunday morning market set in the heart of Murcia where antique stalls, local artists, collectors & speciality local foodies set up approx 50 stalls next to the Segura river, right before 'Paseo del Malecón', a stunning location steeped in 15c history walks with botanical gardens. Visit the market experience the great vibe of bargain hunting then venture along the river walk into nature & explore. At Christmas they hold live trapeze shows & the stunning light shows of ‘The garden of Dreams’.
For Foodie & Gastronomy Fans
The Gastronomic murcia Centre Route; On this route, as well as getting to know the city, you will be able to enjoy the gastronomy, tapas and traditional Murcian food. Choose 1-2 small tapas from each area or just choose one of the highlighted gastronomy sites of; The Plazas Romea, de las Flores, Cardenal Belluga and San Juan are fabulous to experience Murcian gastronomy. A 20 minute walk with lots of historical sites to stop and view inbetween mini tastings of small dishes across 4 main eatery areas.

It is one of the most central places in the city, surrounded by the Vinader and González Campuzano Palaces, the Romea Theatre and one of the façades of the Church of Santo Domingo.
El Palco del Parlamento Andaluz or Mesón de Jesús are two recommended terrace restaurants offering delicious rice dishes, cold meats, and a wide variety of tapas & appetizers.

The Cathedral Church of Saint Mary in Murcia, commonly called the Cathedral of Murcia, is a Catholic church in the city of Murcia, Spain with the most exquisite doors, stunning exterior stonework and soaring interior arches as well as a climb to the bell-tower for sweeping views over Murcia. Built in the 1400s, Architectural styles: Gothic architecture, Baroque & Renaissance architecture. A lot to experience & see while you take time to absorb the atmosphere.
Real Casino of Murcia
The Casino de Murcia, located in the heart of Murcia, Spain, is an eclectic masterpiece with a blend of architectural styles reflecting the 19th and early 20th Centuries. The building combines neoclassical, modernist, and Moorish influences, resulting in an elegant yet diverse appearance. One of the most striking features is the Arab courtyard. The intricate geometric patterns, horseshoe arches, and ornamental tiles are reminiscent of Andalusian Islamic architecture, creating a serene and atmospheric space. The casino's ballroom features lavish decorations with gilded details, large chandeliers, and opulent furniture, contributing to a sense of grandeur and luxury. Once you pay the small entrance fee you can scan a QR code for information on all the rooms and history.
Cardenal Belluga Square
In the area around the squares of Cardenal Belluga and Los Apóstoles and their adjacent streets there are bars, restaurants, beer gardens and taverns where you can enjoy national and international cuisine, but above all a wide range of hot and cold tapas. It is advisable to sit on any of the terraces in the Plaza de Belluga and savour a coffee, a dessert or a beer while enjoying the spectacular baroque façade of the Cathedral.
St John's Square
Presided over by the church of St. John of God, and located in one of the most popular districts of Murcia, the busy St John's Square and the surrounding areas, Cristo del Rescate Square and Calle Cánovas del Castillo, are home to a good number of terraces and restaurants offering a varied gastronomy, ranging from international and market food to traditional Murcia cuisine. Try infused prawn scrambled eggs & roast pork dishes etc. In the area make a visit to Pura Cepa, recommended in the Michelin and Repsol Guide, traditional recipes with modern techniques & accompanying wine cellar offerings . Mercado de Correos, a gastromarket that combines avant-garde gastronomy and fun in the same space.
